Benevolence Fund for CAPA Clergy & Churches
The purpose of this benevolence fund is to offer financial assistance to CAPA clergy and churches in need as a result of COVID.
Assistance amounts will be determined based on need and availability.
Max assistance per clergy: $500
Max assistance per church: $1000. The sole purpose of church assistance is to fund church-based benevolence funds in order to provide for church members in need.
Qualifications & Requirements for CAPA Clergy:
Applicant must be Asian and involved within the Covenant
Applicant must be a dues-paying member of CAPA.
Applicant must have demonstrated need
Financial assistance must only used for needs as documented with receipts: food, clothing, shelter, transportation, healthcare, online education.
Qualifications & Requirements for Churches:
Applicant must be a pastor of the church
Applicant must be a dues-paying member of CAPA
Recipients must be Asian and attending the church
Applicant must identify number of individuals, couples, or families in need
Financial assistance is for the sole purpose of funding your church benevolence fund. Funds must only used for specified needs: food, clothing, shelter, transportation, healthcare, online education. They cannot be used for church purchases or for church employees. While CAPA does not require receipts, please abide by IRS laws for church benevolence funds.
